The 2276-20 is a valuable tool that can help prevent damage to electrical equipment. Accurate to one percent and embedded with non-contact voltage detection, it can perform quick troubleshooting checks, such as indicating if concrete has properly set up or if there's a water leak behind a wall.
Able to measure a one-foot area from 40 feet away, the 2276-20 is ideal for a range of professional users, from electricians and HVAC/R technicians to general contractors, construction and utility workers, and plumbers. Checking mechanical equipment or electrical circuit breakers in panels can be dangerous, but thanks to the 2276-20's high-performance features and safe design, you can easily gather infrared surface-temperature readings from -22 to 1,472 degrees Fahrenheit and contact-surface temperature readings from -40 to 1,022 degrees Fahrenheit.

This thermometer also shows minimum, maximum, and average temperature values, as well as temperature differences. The K-type thermocouple input measures contact temperature, and all results are shown on a high-contrast, best-in-class, easy-to-read display.
Easy to handle and hold, the 2276-20 has rugged over-molding for durability and a comfortable grip, and it comes equipped with an extra-bright LED floodlight.

The 2276-20 owes its long-lasting, fade-free power to a 1.4-amp-hour lithium-ion battery. Since lithium-ion batteries are significantly smaller and lighter than competitive NiCad batteries, they play an integral role in making the 2276-20 ergonomic, comfortable to use, and easy to maneuver while you work. Also, lithium-ion batteries offer long battery life and charge in 30 minutes with the M12 charger. (not included).
